A proper alignment of the injection unit is the basic request for stabile results of the injection unit.
Finally, the alignment has to be checked between the centre of injection piston-rod and the current assembled shot-sleeve in full closed position of the machine.
The existing optical measurement systems cannot fulfill that request, because that kind of measurement is doing on site of the Fixed Platen only in the open position of the machine.
So movements of the Fixed Platen, of the die and of the shot sleeve in the moment of closing of the machine stay out of measurement.
To find really valid results, we offer the check of the alignment by our laser-based system.
Here we assemble the sender directly on the shot sleeve and the receiver will be moved 120 degrees around the injection piston-rod.
With this system, which is developed by the German Specialists of company Prüftechnik, we set 5 points in the angle of 120 degrees and after the measurement the evaluation unit shows and save the declination of the centre axis.
